Outdated booking system drives patient away

I've been loyal to this medical practice for an extended period, but regrettably, I'm now planning to switch due to their problematic appointment scheduling. The only method to book a consultation is by telephone during an extremely narrow morning window. Attempting to call later in the day results in an automatic rejection. This approach has been monumentally exasperating, particularly for working professionals and parents, whose mornings are typically most hectic. Many workplaces restrict personal phone use until designated break periods, effectively preventing patients from successfully arranging appointments. Although many staff members are genuinely pleasant and supportive, my recent interaction with the receptionist was deeply unsatisfactory. The individual I encountered demonstrated minimal compassion or understanding, which significantly heightened the overall stress of the situation. Contemporary medical practices now offer digital booking platforms, which are substantially more convenient and user-friendly. After enduring years of frustration with their antiquated system, I've reluctantly decided to transition to a practice that provides a more contemporary and patient-centered service.
