Outdated systems make healthcare access frustratingly difficult

The medical practice seems less congested compared to the previous year. However, securing an appointment during the initial weeks remains challenging without a triage system. They continue to rely on FAX communication, which presents significant security vulnerabilities and remains susceptible to potential spoofing risks. This approach contradicts NHS guidelines recommending email communications. Even with electronic prescription specifications, when the GP operates remotely, a physical paper prescription is generated. These prescriptions must be manually collected by local pharmacies, with only most (though not all) making daily attempts to retrieve the green slips.
