Painful Delay After Husband's Surgery

Utterly appalling service. Following my husband's surgical procedure, he was discharged with minimal pain management medication. I contacted the clinic to request additional pain relief and was informed that the prescription would be processed by the doctor and ready for collection today. The medical practice has rejected the request pending a consultation with my husband. While that might seem reasonable, the issue is twofold: 1) no one took the time to communicate this to us, and 2) the doctor has conveniently left for the day, meaning my husband must now endure waiting until at least tomorrow. Absolutely ridiculous!!!
