Pharmacy nightmare leaves patient without critical anxiety medication

I attempted to collect my anxiety medication from Boots, only to be informed that no prescription was sent from my surgery. Calling the surgery, they dismissively redirected me to the pharmacy, claiming they had transferred the responsibility. However, the pharmacist could find no record in their system. I felt completely abandoned and unsupported, which triggered a panic attack due to the lack of medication. Fortunately, NHS 111 provided a contact in Sudbury. The Lloyds pharmacy in Sainsbury's was incredibly understanding and compassionate, truly grasping the distress of being left without critical medication. Their kindness was immensely appreciated. Subsequently, Courthauld claimed to have contacted me, yet I've received no communication. I'm utterly bewildered about who is responsible for ensuring I receive the essential medication I depend on.
