Phone lines constantly busy at eight am

I have decided to register with a different practice from the New Year onwards. The main reasons for this decision are the difficulty in reaching the surgery by telephone during booking hours, as calls made at the standard time rarely result in speaking to someone. Additionally, I found interactions with the reception team to be unhelpful and dismissive in tone. It would appear that improved communication training for front-of-house staff could be beneficial. Furthermore, I have experienced delays with prescriptions being transferred to my chosen pharmacy.
