Phone queue made getting through difficult

I called the surgery multiple times this morning after being discharged from hospital on Wednesday. I needed to request a sick note extension and arrange an asthma check-up. I was informed that a clinician would call me back today. When I rang again at 3pm as I hadn't received a call, I was told my callback wasn't being prioritised and that I would hear from someone later. It's now 5:52pm and I still haven't received the call despite the practice being open until 6:30pm. I found this level of service disappointing and am considering registering elsewhere. I would recommend looking at alternative practices rather than choosing this one.
