Phone queue took hours, unhelpful response

Earlier in the year I attended with severe breathing difficulties, swallowing problems and speech issues. I was experiencing continuous vomiting and had lost significant physical strength. Despite repeatedly explaining my difficulty with swallowing, I was given tablets. The following day I required hospital admission for a two-day stay. More recently, my partner has been experiencing severe bladder-related discomfort throughout the day. She spent considerable time calling the practice and pharmacy attempting to obtain medication for pain relief. After several hours of trying to reach someone, she finally got through. She was told there was nothing that could be offered to help. The staff member on the call came across as dismissive and unhelpful. My partner was very upset during the conversation, and the call was ended abruptly with minimal acknowledgement of her distress.
