Phone queues make booking appointments difficult

I have been a patient at this practice for many years, and over the last four years or so, I have noticed a significant decline in the service. The telephone waiting times are particularly problematic, with lengthy hold periods when trying to book appointments. On one occasion, I waited an extended time on the phone just to secure an appointment, and then had to wait considerably longer before receiving confirmation. When I experienced severe back pain, I felt I had no choice but to attend another hospital, where I received prompt attention and support within a short timeframe. Each time I visit this practice, the waiting room appears largely empty aside from staff, yet appointments seem unavailable or there are no earlier slots offered. This situation is frustrating, and while I continue to attend because it is conveniently located, I am not satisfied with the experience. The current rating does not reflect my view of the service quality, which I believe has deteriorated considerably over time.
