Phone queues stretch half an hour every morning

This GP practice has not met my expectations to the point where I felt compelled to seek care elsewhere. Contacting the surgery during peak hours typically involves extended wait times of 30 to 40 minutes before reaching someone, accompanied by a lengthy automated message. Once connected, the standard response relates to high demand at the practice. I have found interactions with the clinical staff to be unhelpful and feel I have been dismissed on numerous occasions. As someone managing both mental health concerns and a significant health condition, I often felt my concerns were treated as burdensome rather than valid. My experience included feeling spoken down to and undervalued during consultations. The practice did not provide the attentive, supportive approach I was seeking, which ultimately led me to transfer my care to another surgery. I would recommend considering alternative options if you prioritise responsive and compassionate healthcare.
