Poor accessible and inclusive service for disabled patients

Today I called to request an urgent video appointment (I am deaf) and after being on hold for more than 45 minutes, I was told by a receptionist that the surgery did not do video appointments "since Covid" despite the fact I had a video appointment with one of the surgery's GPs in June 2026- barely a month ago- which I had to literally fight for. I had raised a complaint about that in June 2026 and was assured it would not happen again. Yet it happened again today and once again I have had to send a complaint to the surgery's management team. I told the receptionist that I had had a video appointment in June 2026 and they put me on hold whilst they spoke to a manager. The call ended up being nearly one hour. This is 2026 and goes against the NHS' policy of ensuring that their services are accessible and inclusive to all patients.
