Practice dismissed concerns without proper assessment

This practice has been disappointing. The standard of care feels inadequate, and it is difficult to get appointments. On multiple occasions when seeking help for a family member's serious infection, I was simply directed to the chemist rather than receiving proper medical assessment. However, a chemist is not equipped to provide the level of treatment that was needed in this situation.

Hi Mrs Newdick, Sorry to hear you feel our services were not as you would expect. We often sign post patients to the most appropriate place, I wonder if your daughter qualified for the pharmacy first scheme https://www.england.nhs.uk/primary-care/pharmacy/pharmacy-services/pharmacy-first/ They can now provide antibiotics for certain presentations. If you would like to discuss this with us contact us in your usual way. Many thanks
