Practice failed to communicate report viewing requirement

My employer requested a medical report. The practice informed my employer that they had notified me of a requirement to attend the practice to review the report before it could be released. However, I was not made aware of this requirement. This miscommunication led my employer to believe I was not cooperating as expected and was being untrustworthy. This situation has created concerns about potential consequences for my employment. When the practice called and I returned their call, they did not mention the report during our conversation. Despite my attending the practice on three separate occasions in the weeks that followed, this matter was not brought up again. No further contact was made to inform me of what was needed. I found this experience deeply frustrating and have decided to register with a different practice.
