Prescription chaos at huddersfield surgery

Absolutely dreadful medical practice with zero coordination. I submitted a prescription via their app last Saturday, expecting it to be processed by Monday, but as of Friday, February 7th, 2024, I still haven't received anything. My medication ran out on Wednesday, and I repeatedly tried calling with no success - the phone line kept disconnecting. When I visited the reception at 8:30 AM, they were completely unaware of my prescription, which they then marked as urgent. I was instructed to call back if I didn't receive a text, and when I did, they claimed the pharmacy was processing daily prescriptions. My fundamental question remains: if my prescription was marked as urgent, why hasn't it been immediately addressed when I've been without critical medication since Wednesday?
