Prescription delay left me without meds

The reception team's customer service has markedly enhanced recently. While the physicians demonstrate compassion, they've been inconsistent with handling prescription requests. I provided generous lead time for a simple prescription renewal, yet after eight days, I was compelled to follow up. I discovered they were internally debating some aspect of the prescription without any substantive explanation or proactive communication about potential delays. This left me completely without necessary medication, which is completely unacceptable. The receptionist was extremely supportive and expedited the request as urgent, but such administrative breakdowns should not occur in the first place.
