Prescription Errors Left Me Without Medication

I was a patient at Dysart Surgery for over two years until relocating. With a chronic bone-related condition requiring daily specialized medication that must be manually prescribed and laboratory-manufactured, I experienced consistently terrible service. From my initial registration through two weeks after moving, the interactions were frustrating, primarily due to the secretarial staff's apparent indifference to patient needs and extremely complicated administrative procedures between staff and physicians. Despite attempting to explain my unique medical situation to multiple doctors, approximately half of my prescription requests were either incorrectly typed or misplaced. At one critical point, I was without essential medication for nearly a month - a situation I consider medical negligence that is unacceptable, particularly for someone with a chronic condition requiring daily treatment. While requesting a final prescription to bridge my transition to a new GP, the Dysart staff completely ignored my request and simply removed me from their patient records. Although a few physicians, such as Dr. P. Ryba, demonstrated professionalism and care, I cannot in good faith recommend this surgery or rate them higher than 1 star out of 5. This is especially true for patients with severe or long-term medical conditions, for whom the risk is simply too great.
