Prescription nightmare at this unresponsive medical practice

The repeat prescription procedure is absolutely frustrating. As a patient requiring ongoing medication, my initial experience was challenging - after submitting the online form, I encountered complete radio silence, had to make multiple follow-up calls, and ultimately needed to visit the clinic in person when my prescription expired. The current situation is even more problematic; despite submitting the form a week ago, I've received no updates and am again approaching a medication shortage. This inefficient process is causing unnecessary anxiety, and the practice manager urgently needs to review and improve their administrative systems. Having recently moved to this area, I'm comparing this experience unfavorably to my previous GP, who managed repeat prescriptions seamlessly. It's not a complex task, so why are they making it so unnecessarily difficult for patients?
