Prescription Nightmare Leaves Elderly Patient Frustrated

Encountered a critical problem with my elderly mother's (88) medication processing, which left her without vital prescriptions. Despite an agreement to issue a replacement script to a nearby pharmacy, complications arose. When I went to collect the medication, no prescription was available. My first attempt to contact the medical practice resulted in a 35-minute call that was abruptly terminated. The second call took 25 minutes before being answered by a staff member who displayed complete indifference and apparent resentment about addressing their own administrative mistake. While I understand current healthcare challenges, there is absolutely no justification for such prolonged wait times and substandard customer service, particularly when the error originates from their office. A simple apology and genuine commitment to resolving the issue would have been the bare minimum professional response.
