Prescription took nine days to process

I submitted a request for a repeat prescription in mid-December and received no response, so I followed up via email a week later and got a notification through the patient portal the next day indicating it was available. It took over a week to process a prescription. I find this system frustrating, particularly having to wait while the medication is prepared at the practice. I would prefer to collect my prescription and have the option to use a pharmacy of my choice without such lengthy delays. If I hadn't chased this up myself, I suspect the wait would have been even longer. Like many others who have shared feedback here, I have had negative experiences at this practice. The interactions have left me feeling unwelcome and discouraged from returning. I am dissatisfied with the service and am currently exploring options to register with a different practice.
