Promised callback after three days, never came

I am extremely disappointed with the care my young infant son has received. He has been experiencing eczema for an extended period, and the treatment approach has consisted solely of various topical creams. When I expressed concerns that these were ineffective and his condition was deteriorating, I was referred for specialist assessment. However, I was informed of a substantial waiting time for hospital appointments and advised to either monitor for cancellations or contact the practice to request an earlier review. I followed this guidance and made contact with the practice, but was told the clinician was unavailable and that someone would email and call me back. After waiting several days without hearing anything, I booked another appointment. During this visit, I communicated my frustration about the lack of progress in a direct manner. I was subsequently offered another appointment with a different clinician the following day. Following this appointment, I received correspondence regarding my conduct during the previous visit. However, I felt my actions were entirely justified given my concerns for my son's wellbeing. The clinician I saw expressed serious concern about how the condition had been managed and indicated they would be raising this with the practice. I feel the care provided has been inadequate and I intend to escalate this matter further through appropriate channels, as I believe the standard of service falls significantly short of what should be expected.
