Promised treatment delayed with no explanation or apology

My health has deteriorated significantly over the past year, making it increasingly difficult to manage daily activities. I am seeking assistance. I have made repeated attempts to address this, but the lack of responsiveness has been disheartening. I took time away from work to attend an appointment where I was told treatment would commence within two weeks, only to receive a call several weeks later informing me of a cancellation with no explanation or clarification provided. I was subsequently told a brief consultation would be arranged within the following week. I am struggling with discomfort and anxiety about my situation. During a recent trip abroad, a pharmacy worker noticed my visible distress and provided considerably more empathy, practical advice and support than I have experienced through my healthcare in the UK. I am puzzled by this disparity. I urgently need support and guidance.
