Quick Help, But Misdiagnosed My Condition

During my first visit, I received a prescription for a medication that had been discontinued six months prior, which I only discovered at the pharmacy. After resolving what I initially thought was an honest mistake, my subsequent appointment was equally disappointing. The doctor hastily examined my symptoms, openly searching Google in front of me and essentially asking me to self-diagnose by eliminating possibilities. He admitted uncertainty and prescribed hydrocortisone "to see what happens," which turned out to be the wrong treatment. The condition worsened dramatically, making swallowing, eating, and drinking impossible. While visiting family abroad, I received proper medical attention. The pharmacist immediately identified my condition, warning that the hydrocortisone cream would exacerbate the problem. Upon returning home, I requested the medication prescribed overseas, but received an inadequate treatment duration. Predictably, the issue returned two weeks after completing the short prescription. My latest interaction was equally frustrating, with the doctor refusing to prescribe the two medications previously recommended. My confidence in this medical practice is minimal. I'm giving them 2 stars because: 1. Appointments and consultations are extremely prompt. 2. Receptionists remain courteous and helpful. 3. If patients arrive with precise knowledge of their condition and required treatment, prescription process is quick.
