Racist receptionist ruins first gp visit experience

The receptionist is a middle-aged Caucasian woman with black hair and bangs, wearing a long skirt. We recently switched our family's general practitioner due to distance, and my mother has heart failure requiring critical medication. This receptionist demonstrated extreme unprofessionalism, and I strongly suspect racial discrimination. When white patients were ahead of us, she was warm and friendly, with a pleasant demeanor and welcoming tone. However, when our turn came, her attitude dramatically shifted. Her facial expression soured, and her communication became hostile and dismissive. I politely inquired about transferring my mother's medical records and medication history to the new GP, who currently had no documentation. Given my mother's critical health needs, I wanted to ensure her records were properly handled. Instead of assisting, the receptionist became aggressive, abruptly telling my mother and me to leave the surgery, claiming she had other patients and tasks. Her response was unwarranted, considering my respectful approach. I found this differential treatment deeply distressing and unacceptable, feeling we were deliberately marginalized based on our racial background.
