Reception barriers made getting care difficult

I found the service disappointing overall. The staff came across as unwelcoming, and there seemed to be unnecessary obstacles in accessing the care I needed. I received a text message from a support service advisor mentioning an attempted call, though I had no record of any missed calls on my phone. When I spoke to reception, they offered to pass on a message for the advisor to contact me. It seems unusual that a text message about a call attempt would be considered proper contact, particularly when I had no evidence of the call being made. I am uncertain how long it will take to receive a callback. Many patients appear frustrated with a system that creates hurdles to receiving care. That said, I have noticed a marked improvement in recent weeks, and the practice does now seem to deliver a reasonable standard of care overall.
