Reception blocked appointment and gave medical advice

I have been unable to access appointments with my usual healthcare provider. A receptionist suggested that my daughter obtain medication without a proper clinical consultation. When we attempted to purchase these tablets, we discovered they require a formal diagnosis from a clinician before they can be dispensed. My daughter had not been seen by a doctor regarding her symptoms, as the receptionist did not arrange an appointment for her. I am concerned about receiving advice to obtain medication without appropriate medical assessment. This experience has left me feeling the care provided fell short of expectations, and I intend to escalate this matter further.
