Reception didn't acknowledge the maintenance oversight

After reviewing the feedback shared about local medical practices in the area, I find myself disappointed by one particularly lengthy response that clearly involved considerable effort. What troubles me is that despite this effort, the reply seemed to overlook the perspective of the person who had experienced the issue. It would have been more appropriate to acknowledge the apparent gap in service regarding maintenance of an accessible area, and to offer a straightforward apology for what was clearly an inconvenient and frustrating situation for the individual to feel compelled to document. Based on my own observations, most people simply want acknowledgment and a willingness to accept responsibility—not an extensive justification of procedures that evidently were not followed through. The response must have felt rather unsatisfying to receive.
