Reception didn't help when I felt unwell

I had a very negative experience during my appointment today regarding a consent form. The clinician indicated they had not seen the form I was referring to. During the visit, I experienced heart palpitations, and I felt that the appropriate level of care and concern was not shown. I was not asked if I needed assistance or support during this time. As a disabled patient, I found the interaction distressing and felt my health concerns were not taken seriously or believed. I have had to make multiple visits to the surgery and numerous phone calls to try to resolve this matter, and I felt the process was unnecessarily prolonged and frustrating. I was told there was insufficient time to address the form properly. When I asked reception to facilitate a conversation, I did not feel my request was handled with sensitivity. Throughout the appointment, I did not feel checked on or cared for, which added to my distress. The receptionist's manner also contributed to my upset. As a disabled person, I found the overall experience upsetting and felt it negatively impacted my wellbeing. I am very concerned about the standard of care I received during this visit.
