Reception dismissed concerns with insensitive questioning

A healthcare professional administered an injection that was not what had been scheduled for my infant. After multiple discussions to clarify whether my child would be affected and learning that a follow-up vaccination would be necessary, the practice management responded to my concerns about the error by questioning whether I might be experiencing postpartum anxiety. The management representative was unable to provide clear answers to my specific questions and seemed more preoccupied with the practice's expansion plans and building works than with addressing my worries. I felt the focus should have been on the wellbeing of current patients rather than growth initiatives. I found the suggestion regarding my mental health to be dismissive of legitimate concerns. While I have chosen to pursue this matter further, I wanted to share my experience so that others can make informed decisions about their care.
