Reception dismissed concerns without proper assessment

I contacted the practice in the morning at 8am to request an appointment as I needed to discuss a skin concern and explore allergy testing. I made multiple calls, and on two occasions was told someone would get back to me. However, I did not receive any callback. When I called again the following morning, I was informed that my concern was not considered urgent. I felt frustrated that a decision was made about the severity of my situation without a proper assessment. I was asked to call back the next day. I have been managing my skin symptoms daily with medication for approximately two months, experiencing redness and itching. I was disappointed that the receptionist did not regard this as requiring prompt attention.
