Reception fails to process prescriptions on time

My mother has been a patient at this practice for three years and manages multiple health conditions. I have concerns about the prescribing of certain medications that specialists at the hospital have recommended she takes. There have also been ongoing issues with the reception team not processing prescriptions promptly or providing accurate information about their status, which has resulted in unnecessary trips to the surgery only to find it closed. This has caused significant disruption, particularly regarding essential medications including cardiac medication. My mother was admitted to hospital during one of these periods without her regular medications. I have found my experience with this practice to be unsatisfactory and would have reservations about recommending it to others.
