Reception queue took priority over patients

Getting through to reception takes 10 minutes by car or an hour on the phone where you're told you're caller number 20. Waiting a month for an appointment to see a clinician feels excessive. Multiple visits were needed for a repeat prescription because records couldn't be located. I observed reception staff having personal conversations while patients waited in the queue. The overall experience has been frustrating. The service felt better in the past.
