Reception staff attitude needs improvement

I had a disappointing experience when calling the clinic during morning appointment booking hours. The receptionist who assisted me displayed an unhelpful and dismissive manner that fell significantly short of the standard I have come to expect from this practice. Over my three years as a patient here, I have consistently received kind and professional service from all other staff members, making this interaction particularly notable for the wrong reasons. I had been instructed to call at the start of business hours to arrange a follow-up appointment to discuss some recent test findings. The high volume of calls at that time made it challenging to get through, and I had been attempting to secure this appointment throughout the previous week. When I finally reached someone this morning after multiple attempts, I was simply told to keep trying, with no acknowledgement of the genuine difficulty I was experiencing in reaching the clinic. It required me to become more assertive before an appointment could be booked for later in the spring. The approach taken lacked the professionalism and understanding that should be fundamental to a reception role. This interaction stands in stark contrast to the consistently positive experiences I have had with every other member of staff at this clinic, who have always demonstrated courtesy, consideration, and genuine willingness to help.
