Reception staff blocked access to urgent appointments

I would caution against attending this practice based on my recent experience. My partner required testing for a serious health concern and encountered significant difficulties accessing appointments. The receptionist appeared unwilling to review relevant medical information on the system and suggested that the case was not urgent enough to warrant a timely appointment, recommending a month-long wait instead. Over two consecutive days, I called at opening time and was told all available slots had been filled within minutes, yet an appointment was subsequently offered for several weeks ahead. This inconsistency was frustrating and raised concerns about appointment availability and how cases are being prioritised. While I found the nursing and clinical staff to be professional and helpful, the barriers to accessing care through reception made the overall experience problematic. I would have appreciated more flexibility and responsiveness when dealing with a potentially serious medical matter.
