Reception staff delayed paperwork without explanation

The reception staff appeared unmotivated in their roles. I felt they were not forthcoming with accurate information during my interactions with them. I registered as a temporary patient approximately six weeks ago and was informed the registration process would be completed within a few days. However, after three weeks had passed, I discovered the paperwork had not been submitted. When I reminded them of my limited timeframe for being in the area, I received responses that suggested frustration rather than helpfulness, with comments implying they had already explained things when no clear explanation had been provided. I found the overall experience quite disappointing and would have preferred more diligent service. While I am generally reluctant to leave critical feedback about the NHS, I felt the level of care and attention fell short of what patients should reasonably expect. I hope others have better experiences than I did.
