Reception staff dismissed my appointment booking

The reception team's manner was quite unwelcoming. When I arrived for what I believed was a scheduled visit, I was informed that no appointment was recorded and that I would need to book one. Additionally, I was advised that availability was limited to two weeks ahead. This is the second occasion on which a similar situation has happened, and I find it frustrating given that these appointments relate to healthcare matters. I am seriously considering transferring to another practice.
