Reception staff dismissed my follow-up appointment request

I had a disappointing experience with the service and found the reception team to be quite unhelpful. I rang to book a follow-up appointment as I had been instructed to do by a clinical staff member, but was told this would not have happened, which made me feel disbelieved. Obtaining an appointment requires calling precisely at 8 a.m. to enter a queue. However, after waiting on hold, calls frequently disconnect and it becomes difficult to reconnect. All available slots for the day tend to be allocated within minutes, and the reception staff are unwilling to assist anyone trying to book after that point. I would suggest that the doctors themselves attempt to secure an appointment at their own practice to understand how challenging and unwelcoming the booking process can feel. The overall experience left me feeling that the staff approach was unhelpful, dismissive and lacking in courtesy.
