Reception staff dismissive when requesting necessary blood tests

My husband received a diagnosis of a serious brain condition at a hospital in January following what was initially thought to be a different condition by this practice. Since then, we have felt that the practice has not been proactive in providing regular blood monitoring that we believe would be helpful for his care. The support offered has been minimal, with tests only arranged when specifically requested by the hospital specialist. During a recent phone call regarding scan results, there appeared to be a lack of awareness about his condition, and the suggested follow-up timeframe did not seem appropriate given his circumstances. Overall, our experience suggests the practice takes a reactive rather than proactive approach to his care.
