Reception staff gave wrong information and were unhelpful

I found the service to be very disappointing, with ongoing issues regarding the accuracy of information provided by reception staff, who I also felt were unhelpful and dismissive. I was not kept adequately informed about several important matters including routine health reviews and necessary tests. The prescription handling process has been particularly frustrating, as it typically takes several days for prescriptions to be processed and sent through, yet submitting requests in advance is not permitted. Additionally, I became aware of clinical notes added to my file that I was not informed about until I specifically enquired, which appeared to be related to my attempts to manage my medication timing appropriately. Booking appointments has proven extremely difficult, and even when requesting urgent availability, reception staff have declined these requests based on their own assessment of whether the situation warrants emergency care. Overall, my experience at this practice has been unsatisfactory, and I am considering transferring to another surgery.
