Reception staff gossiped about patients over coffee

If you experience mental health concerns, I would caution against using this practice. I made a formal complaint regarding what I perceived as a lack of willingness to provide appropriate support for my mental wellbeing. The staff interactions felt dismissive and unkind, and I noticed a significant improvement in my experience after transferring to another surgery. The practice appeared disorganised and seemed to apply inconsistent criteria when deciding which patients to see. I also had concerns about patient confidentiality, as I observed what appeared to be discussions about patients in common areas. The senior clinician's approach seemed divided between competing responsibilities, which appeared to affect their availability and focus. Since leaving some months ago, my recollection of specific timings has become unclear. The senior leadership would benefit from clarifying their priorities and ensuring full commitment to their role. Overall, I felt the level of dedication and professionalism fell short of what one would reasonably expect from a medical practice.
