Reception staff inconsistency caused lengthy delays

Be mindful that your experience at the surgery may vary considerably depending on which reception staff members are present on the day. During my visit, it required multiple reception staff and 45 minutes to inform me they could not produce a straightforward document request. It was regrettable that clinical staff needed to intervene and attempt to resolve the matter. Additional training opportunities are being made available to certain team members to help improve their performance in their roles. This could be an area for the surgery to focus on in order to enhance the quality of their service.
