Reception staff interrupted and wouldn't listen

My partner attended an appointment this morning for a routine injection. Upon arrival, the receptionist's manner came across as unwelcoming and unhelpful. When my partner attempted to explain his situation regarding his registered location and where his appointment was scheduled, he felt interrupted before he could fully explain. I work in a healthcare setting myself where we emphasise the importance of respectful interactions, and I felt this principle should apply equally to how patients are treated by staff.
