Reception staff made booking unnecessarily difficult

I've been a patient at this surgery for just over two years. The reception experience can be challenging at times, as I've found the staff member who regularly works on reception to come across as somewhat dismissive and unhelpful. Things seemed to run more smoothly when a previous clinician was working there. In general, the practice does provide support, though there are limitations when presenting with certain symptoms like cough or fever. In these cases, they require a test to be completed before any treatment can be prescribed. This means if you're unwell today, there's a delay while waiting for the test appointment, results, and then finally receiving care. What feels like an immediate health concern ends up taking a week or more to resolve.
