Reception staff rarely offer helpful assistance

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. The service has been consistently unhelpful throughout my time as a patient. The reception team rarely provides assistance, and obtaining an appointment is exceptionally difficult. I recently requested a repeat prescription for medication that had been previously issued to me at this practice, but rather than receiving support, I was advised to purchase it independently. A similar situation occurred involving my son and a required medication. When I contacted the practice early in the morning, instead of being offered an appointment, I was directed to a pharmacy. The pharmacy subsequently informed me that I would need to buy the medication myself. As someone managing a household independently while working and contributing through taxes, I find this approach wholly unacceptable. I feel undervalued and let down by the practice. The standard of communication is poor, the administrative processes are disorganised, and I experience frustration with each attempt to access care. Unfortunately, this represents a pattern rather than an isolated incident, as I have encountered numerous disappointing interactions previously. I am exhausted by the consistently inadequate level of service provided.
