Reception staff refused to help with doctor callback

I have been a patient here for several years, but the experience has deteriorated significantly. I encountered difficulties when attempting to request a telephone consultation with a clinician, and felt that the reception staff member involved was unhelpful and unwilling to assist. When I wished to lodge a formal complaint, the staff member responsible for handling complaints declined to provide their name, which I later understood should have been made available. Over a three-month period, I attended multiple appointments with my young child, only to be informed on each occasion that the symptoms were viral in nature. After expressing my frustration, I was eventually referred to hospital, where it was discovered that my child had a serious infection requiring two courses of antibiotics. I felt disappointed that the initial assessments had not identified this. I am concerned about the standard of care provided to my children at this practice and have decided to seek treatment elsewhere. It is regrettable that the surgery's standards appear to have declined.
