Reception Staff Rudeness Deters Patient Calls

The demeanor of some reception staff when answering calls is quite unacceptable; they often appear very curt and can be perceived as exceedingly discourteous, especially when callers may be discussing delicate matters. I tend to respond to others in the same manner they treat me, and it seems that additional training for specific team members who handle phone inquiries is necessary at this establishment. It’s perplexing how some individuals manage to communicate with such a lack of respect, considering that anyone else would likely face immediate consequences for similar behavior. One should not feel resentment or anxiety about reaching out to their local GP practice, yet that's how I genuinely feel.
