Reception staff showed genuine kindness throughout difficult time

I have lost confidence in this GP surgery. When I was experiencing significant distress and requesting urgent support, I felt that the clinical team did not respond adequately to my needs. I was prescribed medication for a condition that I believe was not accurately diagnosed, when what I actually required was better pain management. I had to seek care elsewhere to receive what I felt was more appropriate treatment. There was also an instance where medication was prescribed that conflicted with my known allergies, and it took input from community healthcare staff to address this. The overall standard of care appears to have declined considerably from what it once was. On a positive note, the reception staff member was exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and compassionate throughout my experience. I am grateful for their support.
