Reception staff showed no empathy on the phone

The practice demonstrates a lack of compassion in their approach. Reception staff interactions feel dismissive, and there appears to be little willingness to support requests for specialist referrals. The overall impression is one of indifference to patient concerns. When presenting with symptoms, I was met with dismissive responses suggesting my age made certain health issues unlikely. Concerns raised during appointments were not taken seriously. Following a diagnosis, I found it difficult to obtain copies of medical documentation, receiving only incomplete or duplicate pages instead. No guidance or support was provided regarding self-management or next steps. The response to my situation was essentially that nothing further would be done. After seeking a second opinion elsewhere, I was advised to consider changing practices. This practice appears to have lost sight of the fundamental principles of patient care. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your healthcare needs.
