Reception staff unhappy when visiting without appointment

I felt the need to switch practices due to concerns about my medication management. I arranged an appointment for a medication review and blood pressure check. Upon arrival, I discovered the consultation was to be conducted by phone, which seemed impractical for taking a blood pressure reading. The phone consultation did not take place as planned. Accessing appointments has been challenging. Visiting reception in person appears to be discouraged, as staff indicate that appointments must be booked in advance. Repeat prescriptions have taken considerably longer than expected to process. Changing to a different practice was the right decision for me.
