Reception staff were dismissive on the phone call

The receptionist's manner was quite unwelcoming during my phone call. When I rang to ask for assistance and information regarding my medical records, the conversation became confrontational. Rather than providing the support I needed, the staff member seemed to create additional obstacles, suggesting I should register with a different practice when my request was simply for the information I had asked about. Throughout the interaction, there was a noticeable tone of irritation directed towards me. The level of customer service fell short of expectations. While I recognise that reception staff handle demanding situations regularly, this does not justify approaching new patients with such a dismissive attitude from the outset.
