Reception staff's shouting left me feeling unheard

I attended this practice several years ago, and the experience I had has stayed with me in a deeply negative way, which is why I feel compelled to share my feedback. I had a scheduled appointment at 9am and took time off work to attend. After waiting until 9:30 without being called, I became concerned about the delay and approached the reception desk to inquire about my appointment. The receptionist responded in a raised voice, telling me to wait my turn. When I attempted to explain that my appointment was scheduled for 9am, I was not given the opportunity to speak and was spoken to in an aggressive manner. This left me feeling distressed, and I decided to leave. Subsequently, the receptionist contacted my family member rather than me directly. I submitted a complaint to the practice regarding this interaction, but the response was dismissive, with the practice suggesting that I was at fault. I have since moved to a different practice. This is not an experience I have encountered elsewhere, and while it may have been an isolated incident, I believe this practice should reflect on how they communicate with patients, as such interactions can have a significant and lasting effect.
