I am utterly and perhaps profoundly impressed with my recent consultation! Meeting with the clinician for the first time was a surprising revelation—they stood out immediately as the first doctor at the surgery who I know definitely read my notes thoroughly. The depth of their explanations yet simply expressed, was out of the ordinary compared to the usual NHS doctor approach. In fact, they made me feel as though I were consulting with a private physician rather than a GP within the NHS. To put it simply, they exceeded every expectation I had about what care in the NHS could look like. It's genuinely heartening to know that individuals like this exist within the system, providing exceptional care that feels so personal and thoughtful. If only more practitioners shared this dedication and expertise! While I selfishly hope they remain at the practice forever, it's clear that this outstanding clinician is destined to go far in their career. Until then, I'm deeply grateful for the gift of having access to such a remarkable doctor within our practice and indeed our public healthcare system. I must also take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the reception team and their colleagues. I am so sorry I can't remember all the names, as my medication has affected my memory. Their professionalism is really commendable, and they consistently go above and beyond to make every interaction calm, supportive, and stress-free. It's evident that they genuinely care about the well-being of their patients—they're always helpful, patient, and unhurried, even when dealing with some very difficult patients or complex situations. For people who are unwell, this kind of empathetic and composed approach can make such a profound difference, and it speaks volumes about the quality of care within the practice. They all, as frontline staff, truly embody the spirit of compassion and dedication, and I feel incredibly fortunate, at this very difficult time of my life, to have them as part of my healthcare journey.
